Creating Account work attributes for linking accounts to Jira issues

Abstract

How to create Account work attributes for linking accounts to Jira issues

Important

Configuring work attributes requires the Tempo Administrator permission.

You can use Tempo Timesheets to view an Account and the completed worklogs that are linked to it.

  1. Create an Account-type work attribute so that an Account field appears in the Log Time form:

Add a work attribute of the type Account to your time records. Only one work attribute can be configured as an Account type - see Create Work attributes for customized time logging .

  2. Link (associate) the Jira project to an account - see Linking accounts to Jira projects.

  3. Link an account when you log time or edit time records.

When you log time to an issue or edit a time record, you can link an account to that time record using the Account field in the Log Time form.

    Tip

To see all time records linked to an account, created a Logged Time report that is filtered by the Account, then group by Worklog.
