Problem
When I change the view in the Structure gadget on a dashboard, or in the Structure macro on a Confluence page, the updates of the displayed columns disappear later. When I access the gadget/macro again, its columns appear unchanged.
Solution
Both the Structure gadget and the Structure macro display columns that belong to a view defined in the configuration. It is possible to adjust this view in the gadget/macro, and add/delete columns in it, but these adjustments are only applied locally in the user’s browser, and they are removed eventually.
To change the columns permanently, you need to update the configured view in Structure in Jira:

Open any existing structure.

Select the view used in the gadget/macro, and add the changes you need to it.

Save the view.
As a result, the updated view will be displayed in the gadget/macro automatically, and the made changes will remain until the view is changed in Structure again.
