Problem
My structure is suddenly empty; no issues are displayed without any errors.
Solution
If a structure becomes empty, it’s possible that its owner has lost access to issues in Jira. Structure’s generators work from under the structure’s owner’s permissions, and they can only add issues that the owner can see in Jira. If issues disappear from the structure, then please check:
-
if the owner of the structure is inactive in Jira. In this case, they lose access to all issues, and all of their structures become empty as a result
-
if the owner has access to the projects of issues of the structure in question. If the owner cannot access the relevant projects, the generators won’t be able to add any issues from these projects to the structure.
In either case, the owner’s access should be revoked, or the owner of the structure should be changed to a different user who has access. Then, the structure should repopulate with issues right away (a page refresh might be required).
