Problem
I want to add issues with a specific link in them, but I don’t see this link type in the Linked Issues Extend generator.
Solution
In Jira, the names of links that appear on the Issue Page, are based on each link direction, and the Extend generator’s select list at the top is based on the link type. To add issues linked with a specific link direction, you need to do the following:

go to Administration | Issues | Issue Linking

search for the link direction that you need on the page (e.g. ‘is implemented by’, is parent of' etc)

find the name of the link type that has the mentioned link direction configured in it

select that link type in the Extend generator’s configuration, and then select the right link direction underneath.
