Error message when converting a Planning Task to a Jira Issue

Problem

When I try to convert a planning task to a Jira issue, the following error appears:

Item not found, or you don't have permission to browse it.

Solution

This error happens because of the https://help.tempo.io/structure-dc/latest/manual-adjustments applied to this task. You can see it by the hand icon placed on the left side of this Planning Task in the structure.

To allow the conversion, you need to:

• Either disable the Manual adjustments feature in the structure and create a new planning task anywhere in the structure where possible;

• Or create the planning task without breaking the content of the generators. For example, you can focus on the structure's root which is the structure's name above the structure’s generators (click the ‘Automaton’ button to see it), and then create the planning task. This way, it will be created as a static item, unrelated to the structure’s dynamic content, and the conversion will be possible.
