This article is for Structure Data Center.
Problem
When I open the Jira actions menu in my structure - I click the three dots button on the right side of a structure’s row - it doesn’t work as expected. Either some options on the list are missing, or clicking on any of them doesn’t do anything, or an error is shown.
Solution
The actions menu displayed in structures comes from Jira, i.e. Structure just displays it without interfering with its content. To troubleshoot it, please try the following:
-
Check if the same behavior happens outside of Structure. For example, if you go to Issues | search for issues, select the List View in the top right corner, you should be able to call up the menu in the same fashion - click the three dots button in the Actions column on the right side of any issue on the displayed list. If the behavior is the same, then the problem is not related to Structure, and it should be addressed on the Jira side.
-
If the behavior only reproduces in Structure, try using the incognito browser mode. If the problem doesn’t happen, then it can point to a browser cache/browser extension that might be blocking the functionality.
-
Alternatively, you can try to run your Jira instance in safe mode when, out of all apps, only Structure is enabled, and check the behavior then. If it doesn’t reproduce, then it’s possible that some other app is affecting the Structure’s code in some way.
If you need our further assistance with this, please send us detailed screenshots of what it looks like when the problem is reproduced in both Structure and Jira, and we’ll investigate it.
