This article is for Structure Cloud.
Problem
Jira admins can’t open an existing structure. The structure’s name is not clickable on the All Structures page, and when they open the structure’s direct URL, they see an error:
The structure does not exist or is not accessible.
Solution
In Structure Cloud, all users can access existing structures only when these structures are shared with them. However, unlike regular users, Jira administrators can share any structure with themselves.
Here is how an admin can get access to any structure:
-
Open the All Structure page: https://help.tempo.io/structure/latest/managing-structures
On the page, an administrator will be able to see all existing structures, regardless of their access level to them. Regular users will only see structures that are shared with them. -
Click the cog button on the right side of any structure, set any permission level from View to Control: https://help.tempo.io/structure/latest/structure-permissions for the admin in question. Once it’s done, ithe admin will be ableto access the structure.
