Some users can't add a column in Structure

Problem

Some users are unable to add some columns to the structure. The fields do not appear on the ‘Add column’ list for some users, but they appear for others.

Solution

On the Structure’s side, there is no standalone restriction on adding columns in structures. If a certain field can’t be added as a column, then it is likely:

• not available to the user in Jira. I.e. if a field is restricted and only some users can see its values, Structure will respect that, and only show this field on the list of columns to users who can see it.

• it is not supported in Structure. If this is the case, the field in question will be absent from the list of columns for all users. You can find the overview of supported columns here: https://help.tempo.io/structure/latest/viewable-and-editable-fields-in-structure
