Problem
My structure is suddenly empty; no work items are displayed without any errors.
Solution
If a structure becomes empty, it’s possible that its owner has lost access to work items in Jira. Structure’s generators work from under the structure’s owner’s permissions, and they can only add items that the owner can see in Jira. If items disappear from the structure, then please check:
- if the owner of the structure is inactive in Jira. In this case, they lose access to all work items, and all of their structures become empty as a result
- if the owner has access to the spaces of work items of the structure in question. If the owner cannot access the relevant spaces, the generators won’t be able to add any work items from these spaces to the structure.
In either case, the owner’s access should be revoked, or the owner of the structure should be changed to a different user who has access. Then, the structure should repopulate with items right away (a page refresh might be required).
