This article is for Structure Cloud.
Problem
When I open a structure, I see the following error message:
You do not have permission to access Structure Cloud. Please contact your Jira administrator.
Solution
This message can indicate that the Access to Structure Cloud global permission is Jira is not granted to you. Without this permission, it’s not possible for the user to view any existing structures or create new structures. The permission can be configured at Jira settings | System | Global permissions.
Please note:

After granting the permission, it takes Structure about 10 minutes to react to this change. I.e. it’s normal that the error message can linger for a while. Please wait a bit before refreshing the page with a structure.

Jira administrators do not have access to structures be default. Like any other user, they should also be granted the Access to Structure Cloud permission.
