Connection lost error is shown in Structure

Problem

Structure isn’t loading, and this error message is shown:

Connection lost
Your computer seems to be offline. We’ll keep trying to reconnect.

Solution

The connection problem error might indicate that something is blocking Structure from connecting to the instance. Please check the following:

  1. Make sure that WebSocket connections are enabled in your environment. Websockets are necessary for Structure to function.

  2. Structure is whitelisted according to our documentation: https://help.tempo.io/structure/latest/cannot-access-structure-through-a-firewall

If this doesn’t help, please let us know, and we will look into this in more detail.
