Cannot Access Structure Through a Firewall

If your company firewall is preventing you from accessing Structure, we recommend:

  • Ensuring the firewall allows WebSocket connections. Structure will not work without a WebSockets connection.

  • Adding the following addresses to your whitelist: 

    • Customers in the EU/DE regions, use the following URLS: https://prod-eu-central-1.structure.app and https://<YOUR_DOMAIN_ID>.prod-eu-central-1.structure.app

    • All other customers: https://structure.app and https://<YOUR_DOMAIN_ID>.structure.app

    • If this does not solve the problem, you can also use the Structure app IP address. To obtain the current IP address, perform a dns lookup for domain structure.app. Note: this method should only be used if “structure.app” fails, because an app IP address is subject to change.

When adding Structure to your whitelist, use the following configurations:

  • Source IP address and source port - any:any

  • Destination port and IP address - port: 443, destination host: structure.app (IP: <Address returned from dns lookup>)

The domain ID can be found in the Structure Help menu | About | Debug.
