2025-08-26 | Timesheets 18.8.0 Release
Version 18.8.0 of Tempo Timesheets is a compatibility release that also includes improvements. This version is compatible with Atlassian’s Jira 11 platform. |
Timesheets
Tempo continually reviews its code to evaluate what is needed and ensure we provide our customers with the best and most up-to-date software releases possible. Please see our Code Deprecation and Removal page to find a list of features that we are planning to deprecate and determine whether it will have an impact on your integration points with Tempo. The deprecated code will be removed in our October release.
WHAT’S NEW
Timesheets is now compatible with Atlassian Jira 11. Following the release of Jira 11, Tempo Timesheets will no longer support Java 8. To continue using Tempo Timesheets on Jira 11 and future releases, you must be using Java 11, Java 17, or Java 21.
While Tempo will continue to be compatible with Java 11 after the Jira 11 release, Atlassian has officially ended its support for Java 11. So it is highly recommended that you upgrade to Java 17 or Java 21 to remain fully aligned with Atlassian's supported platforms.
IMPROVEMENTS
Improved the performance of exporting the Logged Time Report when custom fields are selected for export.
FIXED
When viewing an exported timesheet in Print view, a redundant ruler (white space) separated page data.
When only one account is linked to a project, but no account is selected as the default, the system would automatically select the linked account when creating an issue. Now, the system will indicate “None” when creating an issue if no account is selected as the default.
