Relevant Tempo Apps versions are Tempo versions 18.x
Tempo will end support for Java 8 for all its Jira Data Center applications (Tempo Timesheets, Tempo Budgets, and Tempo Planner) with Atlassian’s upcoming Jira 11 release for Data Center, in alignment with Atlassian’s own end of support announcement .
Jira 11 is not yet released to GA, and its release date is unknown. Atlassian has released EAP versions here .
Preparing for Upgrade
Please follow Atlassian’s recommended guidelines for upgrading Jira.
Upgrade Actions
Prerequisite: If you’re using Java 8, please upgrade to Java 11, 17, or 21 as soon as possible.
While Java 11 will remain compatible with Tempo products after the Jira 11 release, Atlassian has officially ended support for it . We recommend upgrading to Java 17 or 21 to remain fully aligned with Atlassian’s standards.
Your Tempo apps will be compatible with the new Jira 11 version once you upgrade both Jira and your Tempo apps, and upgrade to a supported Java version.

Action: While on Jira 10.x platform, upgrade your Tempo apps to the latest compatible version.

The installation of Tempo Timesheets takes longer than usual because of data migration so you might want to upgrade outside of office hours.
