Jira Issues Linked with Planner

Tempo plans are linked with specific types of Jira issues based on the Jira issue type hierarchy. See Configure the issue type hierarchy in the Atlassian documentation for more information. Unless otherwise noted, Tempo documentation refers to the default values of the issue type hierarchy.

Team Plans (Epics and Above)

By default, Team plans can only be linked to Epics and higher, which are level 1 and higher.

If your Jira administrator has modified your issue type hierarchy, then issues hierarchy level 1 or above can be linked to Team Plans.

Individual Plans (Stories and Below)

By default, Individual plans can only be linked to Stories and lower, which are levels 0 and lower.

If your Jira administrator has modified your issue type hierarchy, then issues hierarchy level 0 or below can be linked to Individual Plans.
