SAML Authentication Error when Accessing a Published Roadmap

Problem

When trying to access a published roadmap that is SSO protected, receive SAML authentication error.

Solution

There are two possibilities which may be the cause of receiving this error:

  • An ad blocker is preventing the authentication popup window from opening correctly, which is reporting a false decline on the authentication. Try accessing the link in an incognito / private window

  • Access from inside the SAML provider is limited to a specific user group or team, which is preventing the user from accessing the site following a successful login. Speak to the SSO admin for the company to make sure you are on the Strategic Roadmap allowed access list.
