Capacity Planner by Tempo

To install Capacity Planner, you need the Jira administrator permission.

Capacity Planner by Tempo is a powerful resource management tool designed to optimize capacity planning and project management in Jira. You can get a clear overview of your staff’s availability and plans in real-time, which helps you make better decisions and plan more efficiently. It can also sync your staff’s capacity in both Jira and Capacity Planner so both tools stay up-to-date, and teams can plan in either tool.

To access and install the app:

  1. Select Apps in the Tempo sidebar.

  2. In the Capacity Planner tile, click Install. You are redirected to the Atlassian Marketplace, where you can download a free trial or purchase it immediately.

  3. When installed, the Planner icon is added to the Tempo sidebar, and Capacity Planner is added to the Installed section of the Tempo Apps home page.

After Planner is installed and you start using it to plan your work, you can forecast your project costs and revenues.
