Epic is not being shown on filters and reports

Problem

Why does the Filter by Epics option return no results when selecting an Epic—either when searching by Epic Key or Summary, or when opening the Epic dropdown with no value entered?

Solution

This issue is most likely caused by a change to the issue type name. If the Epic issue type has been renamed, any filters or reports that rely on that name may be impacted and stop working as expected.
