I need to uninstall Tempo? What happens with worklogs and all of the data? Will the data be lost if I remove the app?
Solution
All Tempo worklogs are synced to Jira. If you uninstall the app, the worklogs will remain available in Jira. However, the worklog Author and description will be set as "Tempo Timesheet", so you won't have the Author’s name and description.
Tempo offers a feature that allows you to define your data retention policy. If nothing is selected, data is retained indefinitely as long as you remain our customer. If you leave our service after one month, your data will be transferred to a secure storage archive and subsequently removed from the production database. As part of our effort to not store unnecessary data for too long, data is removed from the archive one year after it is no longer in our service. If you return within one year, your archived data is restored to its original state. If you do not return within this timeframe, the data is also removed from the archive. That said, if the app is deleted and then reinstalled, all the data and setup will be restored, provided the app is reinstalled within the aforementioned period.
