Error “NO TEAM EXISTS, OR YOU DO NOT HAVE VISIBILITY TO TEAMS.”

Problem

We have created a team, but when we view the Tempo team page, we see the error “NO TEAM EXISTS, OR YOU DO NOT HAVE VISIBILITY TO TEAMS.”

Solution

This can be one of three scenarios.

1. There have been no Tempo teams created

2. You don’t have permission to view the Tempo Team.

   • You will need to have the Tempo Team Administrator global permission

     • Or

   • The View Team permission

3. You are a member of a Tempo Team, but have a leaving date set

4. There has been some confusion with the Teams feature in Jira.

   • Jira teams and Tempo teams are independent of each other. They don’t synchronize or share functionality.
