Problem
Tempo Timesheets or Tempo Core may fail to install or activate, or Tempo may not launch or load for some users. Errors can include “Something went wrong” or “cannot load.”
Solution
Tempo access failures can have different causes, so use the symptom to choose the appropriate resolution.
Scenario: Tempo apps are uninstalled or installation is incomplete
If Tempo Timesheets or Tempo Core appears as uninstalled, or stopped working after an incomplete installation, reinstall the apps through Jira administration. Reinstalling won't cause any Tempo data loss.
Go to Jira settings > Apps > Manage apps and expand the Tempo app details. If required, unsubscribe or stop the trial, then uninstall each Tempo app in use. Reinstall Tempo Timesheets and any other Tempo apps from Find new apps or Explore apps. Install Tempo Core as well, because Timesheets requires it. If the subscription or cancellation is pending, or Atlassian does not allow reinstallation, contact Atlassian Support to resolve the Marketplace billing or installation state.
Scenario: Some users cannot load Tempo because of permissions or network filtering
When some users can access Tempo but affected users cannot, the issue may be related to user permissions or blocked Atlassian traffic. Confirm that affected users have the Tempo Timesheet Access global permission. If the permissions are correctly set, one possible cause is that your firewall is blocking traffic related to Atlassian's Forge platform or its CDN domains. Since these domains are managed by Atlassian, they may change over time, and any restrictions on them can impact the functionality of Forge-based apps.
To help prevent access issues, please ensure that the relevant Atlassian domains are allowlisted in your firewall configuration, especially *.atlassian-dev.net domain.
Users can also try another browser or an incognito window to distinguish browser-specific issues. If the problem continues, provide support with a valid HAR capture recorded while reproducing the issue.
