Problem
On the Portfolio tab, clicking an imported item's External Key doesn't take you to the item in Jira or clicking an item's name doesn't open its detail panel in Loop.
Solution
These are two distinct actions on the same row: the External Key is a link out to the source Jira issue, while the item name opens Loop's own detail panel. Confusing the two — or a broken/expired Jira session — is the most common cause.

Confirm you're clicking the right target: the External Key (e.g.,
PROJ-123) opens Jira; the item name opens the Loop item panel. -
If clicking the External Key doesn't open Jira, confirm you're still logged into that Jira instance in the same browser — an expired session can silently block the redirect.

If the item panel won't open at all, try reloading the Portfolio tab — a stale page state after a recent sync can occasionally prevent panels from opening until refreshed.
Right after an import, use this review step deliberately: spot-check a few External Keys to confirm they open the correct Jira issues, and a few item names to confirm the detail panel shows the data you expect — catching mismatches here is easier than after you've built out hierarchy on top of them.
