Auto-sync isn't behaving as expected

Problem

Updates in Jira aren't reflected in Loop (or vice versa) when expected.

Solution

Auto-sync only runs in one direction at the frequency configured — it's not real-time or bidirectional.

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and open the integration.

  2. Confirm auto-sync is enabled, and check the configured sync direction and frequency.

  3. For an immediate update, trigger a manual sync rather than waiting on the schedule

If you need near-real-time updates in both directions, rely on manual syncs rather than auto-sync, since auto-sync only supports one direction at a time.
