Question
I created 4 data sources and shared them with another user to use them.
My intention is to allow the new user to edit and use them every time he needs to run the job.
But we notice that they cannot edit the data sources I shared.
How to share the data sources that I created, and the receiving user should be able to edit the same data sources.
Answer
Only Jira administrators can edit data sources of other users (shared ones). This was implemented for security reasons. Users without administrative privileges can edit only their own connectors.
There are a few options:
1.) The affected user can clone the original source and then gain the ability to work with it, as shown below:
2.) You can change the source owner to the needed user for editing purposes.
