How to Bulk Update the Tempo Account Field on Work Items

How do I update/edit the Tempo Account field on multiple work items at once?

Answer

With the move to Forge, you will need to use Jira's new bulk edit experience to update the Tempo Account custom field. After selecting a work item, if you don't see the toolbar, select the classic "Bulk Change work items" option in the menu to see a banner with the option to "Try new version."

To update the account:

1. Go to the list view containing the work items you want to update, and select them.

2. Click Edit fields to open the bulk edit panel.

3. Search for the Account field and add it. Two fields may appear named "Account" — select the one with field type Forge object, which is the Tempo-managed field.

4. Set the desired account value in the field.

5. Click Next to preview the change, then Confirm to apply it.
