Migration to Time Tracker Cloud (from Time Tracker Lite Cloud)

The migration feature for Time Tracker Lite Cloud to Time Tracker Cloud was deprecated on November 21, 2025. Migrations must now be completed manually.

Before you begin

  • If you want to save your reports before you migrate, visit Save and Share Reports.

  • Projects, Time Tracking, and Issues data will remain intact and are unaffected by migration because they reside in the Jira Database.

  • To perform Steps 1 and 2 below, you must have Jira administrator access.

Follow the steps below to manually migrate from Time Tracker Lite Cloud to Time Tracker Cloud:

  1. Download and install Time Tracker Cloud.

  2. Migrate Configurations:
    a. Go to Time Tracker Lite configurations.
    b. Go to Time Tracker configurations and manually apply the same configurations.

  3. Each user must mirror the Time Tracker Lite and Time Tracker screens and migrate the following data manually:

    • Saved reports

    • User preferences

    • Gadgets

  1. If using the Cost Report, Hourly Rates are not migrated and must be recreated.
