Structure is disabled

This article is for Structure Data Center.

Problem

On the Manage apps page, Structure is not enabled on its own after a Jira restart, or it occasionally becomes disabled.

Solution

This can happen when Structure is waiting for some necessary components when Jira is starting up, and it times out. You can try to extend the timeout setting and give apps more time to start by following the steps below:

  1. Stop your Jira.

  2. Add -Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=300 as a startup parameter: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver079/setting-properties-and-options-on-startup-950289122.html

  3. Start Jira.
