The Structure OKRs feature is currently in an Early Access Program (EAP).
Jira and Structure admins can create labels, add cycles, and set permissions from the settings menu. Select the Settings icon (:jiraSettings:) next to New Goal to open the Structure OKRs settings.
Manage labels
Go to the Labels tab and select Create new label to add a label to your OKR board. Enter a Label name then select Add.
Hover over an existing label name and select :editPencil: to rename it, or select X to delete the label.
Deleting a label also removes that label from Goals and Key Results it’s attached to.
Manage cycles
Cycles define the time period used when planning your OKRs and goals.
Go to the Cycle tab and select + New cycle to create a new cycle. While creating or editing a cycle, you can choose from a template (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Half-year, or Year) or create a custom cycle by selecting its Start date and End date from the calendars. You can also select a template and then change to a custom cycle by selecting new dates. Select Save cycle when you’re done.
Hover over an existing cycle and select :editPencil: to edit it, or select X to delete the cycle.
You cannot delete cycles referenced by existing items. Reassign your items to a new cycle, or remove the items, to finish deleting the cycle.
Set permissions
Go to the Permissions tab to modify who can edit your OKRs.
By default, all Structure users on your instance can view all goals and key results, and Jira admins can create and edit those items. Structure admins can add users, groups, or project roles to the list of those who can edit goals and key results.
To do so, select Users, Groups, or Space role from the menu. For Users or Groups, select who you want to add from the menu. For Project role, you must select a project first, then select a role from the menu. Select Share to add your selection to the list.
Hover over an existing entry on the list and select X to revoke their editing permissions.
You can select Share from the main OKR board to copy a link to your OKRs.
