Deleting plans that are synced to Jira Issues

Synced plans cannot be deleted directly from the Planner screen; however, there are a few methods to remove the plan.

  • The plan will be automatically deleted if the issue is deleted or if one of the synced fields on the issue is changed to blank/no value

  • Temporarily disable Sync plans with the Jira issue. This will delete the plan, leaving the issue fields unchanged.

    • Disable “Sync plans with Jira issue” in Tempo settings.

    • Delete the plan from Planner.

    • Re-enable the feature after the plan is removed.
