Users can build reports and save them as templates. Global templates allow users to share their templates across the instance so others can use them.
Jira or Confluence admins can set access to create and view global templates.
Managing template permissions
To give users access to create their own templates:

Open the Custom Charts Admin Settings.

Select the Template Options tab.

Expand Permission - Global Template Administrator.

Select users or groups to give them access:

Individual users: Enter the name of the user in the User name field, then select the user from the list and select Add.

Jira groups: Enter the name of the group in the Group name text box, then select the group from the list and select Add.

To give users access to view created templates:

Open the Custom Charts Admin Settings.

Select the Template Options tab.

Expand Permission - Global Template Viewer.

Select users or groups to give them access:

Individual users: Enter the name of the user in the User name field, then select the user from the list and select Add.

Jira groups: Enter the name of the group in the Group name text box, then select the group from the list and select Add.

Disabling templates
Templates are enabled by default, but admins can disable the setting if they don’t want to use this feature. To do so:

Open the Custom Charts Admin Settings.

Select the Features tab
-
Turn off the toggle in the Templates section.
