Admins can use data sources to pull data into Custom Charts that is not stored directly on Jira issues.
If you’re using Custom Charts on a Cloud instance, you need to set the Timesheets and Structure data sources to On to use them in your charts.
Custom Charts uses OAuth 2.0 for Assets (formerly Insight) to enhance data security.
This means:

Assets data will now follow your individual Jira user permissions.

You can still use User Impersonation on Confluence to display Assets field data to users without licenses.

Assets field data will only be visible on Jira to users with a JSM license.
