The Chart By customization menu is available on all chart types. You can use this menu to organize and customize your primary data segments.

Highlight empty segments
When toggled on (green), empty segments are highlighted |
Show zero counts
If “On chart” is toggled on (green), segments with a value of zero are shown on the chart If “Highlight rows in editor” is toggled on (green), zero count segments are highlighted in the editor and can be easily deleted |
Color lock
When toggled on (green), a single color is locked in for all segments |
Ordering
In the dropdown, choose the ordering of segments |
Version options
In the dropdown, choose to include or exclude specific version statuses on the chart |
Sprint options
In the dropdown, choose to include or exclude specific sprint statuses on the chart |
Reorder segments
Click, drag, and drop the pair of vertical dots to move each segment up or down on the chart |
Color picker
Click the color picker to choose the color of a chart segment |
Rename segments
Click the pencil icon to change the name of a chart segment |
Group segments
Click the + icon next to a segment name, to combine multiple segments into a single segment |
Hide segments
Click the eyeball icon to hide a segment from the chart |
Date Options
For charts where you choose a date field as the Chart By option, you can customize the way the dates are grouped and the range of dates that display on the chart.

Grouping In the dropdown, users can change the way dates are grouped on the chart (i.e. break the dates down by month instead of day) |

Range In the dropdown, users can change the range of dates that appear on the chart (i.e. only show issues with due dates in the next 30 days) |

Show issues without dates Click the toggle (it will turns green) to include issues on the chart that do not have a date filled in for the date field selected in the Chart by dropdown
