There is a “Time Tracker” provider for time tracking, which can be selected in Jira Settings. Is this required?
Answer
It is not required by the app, but to take advantage of more features, mainly in the Logging Work dialog, it is needed.
For example, when Time Tracker is set as the provider, the “Log work done” window will respect the settings. “Log work Retroactively”, Restrict working hours per day,” and “Require Work Description.
