It is possible to restrict the number of hours a day that can be worked through the “Restrict Working Hours Per Day” setting in the app configuration, General tab.
The daily working hours are configured in the Jira Time Tracking settings.
Please note: you need to have “Time Tracker” set as the Timesheet provider to use this setting.
