Problem
When I open the Gantt chart of my structure, I see the following error message:
Structure.Gantt is an extension for the Structure for Jira app. We have detected that Structure is already installed but to a different Data Residency region. If you have recently done a realm migration from this region, you need to schedule a data migration for Structure. Please follow the documentation or contact our Support Team
Solution
The message indicated that there is a mismatch in the locations where the data of both apps are located. For Gantt Charts to work, it should be installed in the same location as Structure, otherwise the integration between the two apps is impossible.
This issue can be resolved by moving either Structure or Gantt Charts to a different location where the other app currently is. This can be requested by a Jira administration in Atlassian administration section of your Jira domain.
Please note: it doesn’t matter where your Jira is located; the only requirement for the integration to work is for Structure & Gantt Charts to be present in the same location. However, to be able to move either app, you might need to pin your Jira to somewhere first if it’s location is not set.
