The Custom Charts Assistant is an AI-powered Rovo agent designed to simplify the process of creating Custom Charts on Jira. You can describe your needs in plain language, and the assistant will guide you through the creation process.
The Custom Charts Assistant does not use any external data to generate its results.
Installing the Custom Charts Assistant

Go to the Custom Charts Assistant page on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Select Try it free to start your trial, or Install if you’ve already purchased it.
Your instance must have Rovo enabled to use the assistant. If it’s not enabled, reach out to your Jira admin.
Using the Custom Charts Assistant
To create a chart with the assistant’s help:

Select Ask Rovo to open the agent chat pane.

Use natural language to describe the chart you want to create.
For example, “Create a pie chart of assignees for the marketing project.” -
Follow the assistant’s prompts while it helps you select the right Dashboard and data.

After creating the chart, the assistant provides a link to the Dashboard so you can check its accuracy. You can edit the chart for additional tweaks, customization, or fixes.
