Connect Anthropic

Connect Using the Anthropic Console

The Anthropic Console connection is an org-wide connection. It pulls daily Claude usage and spend across your entire organization, through Anthropic’s Usage and Cost API.

How it’s used: This is a primary source for AI Cost Tracking. Spend is attributed back to the Jira work items based on detected work activity on that same day. Spend that can’t be matched to any GitHub activity still counts toward your organization-wide total, labeled unattributed.

Step 1: Create an Admin API Key

  1. Sign in to the Claude Console at platform.claude.com.

  2. Navigate to API Keys in the sidebar. Expand the section to find Admin Keys.

  3. Select Create Admin Key and give it a name (for example, “Workforce Intelligence Integration”).

  4. Copy the key and store it securely. Anthropic does not display the key again after creation.

Step 2: Configure the connection in Workforce Intelligence

  1. In Workforce Intelligence, go to Settings | Connectors.

  2. Look for the Claude Code (Anthropic Console) connector and click Connect.

  3. Enter your organization’s console admin API key and select Verify & connect.

Once verified, Workforce Intelligence automatically pulls the last 90 days of Anthropic Console data.

It may take several hours to see data on the reporting views, depending on the amount of cost and usage data.

Connect Using Anthropic Enterprise

The Claude Enterprise connection ingests per-user cost and usage data, broken down by user and product through an Analytics API key.

How it’s used: Like the Anthropic Console connection, this feeds AI Cost Tracking — spend rolls up to the Jira work items it’s attributed to, and to the organization-wide total when it can’t be matched to a specific item.

Step 1: Create an Admin API Key

  1. As the Owner of your Anthropic Enterprise organization, sign in to claude.ai/analytics/api-keys.

  2. Create a new Analytics API Key.

  3. Provide a name (for example, "Workforce Intelligence Integration").

  4. Copy the key and store it securely. Anthropic does not display it again.

Step 2: Configure the connection in Workforce Intelligence

  1. In Workforce Intelligence, go to Settings | Connectors.

  2. Look for the Claude Enterprise connector and click Connect.

  3. Enter your organization admin API key. Select Verify & connect.
