How to Connect to Power BI if ServiceNow Uses MFA/2FA/SSO

➡️ Explanation: Microsoft Power BI doesn’t support two-factor authentication. If your organization uses MFA, 2FA, or SSO, you might have troubles connecting to Power BI with the Basic authentication method.

➡️ Solution: To address this issue you can:

• Create a service account with a local password: Ask your ServiceNow admin to create a separate service account without MFA and set a local password for it so can use it for further Power BI authorization.

• Use Blank Query Connection: Utilize the new Blank Query Connection method without disabling SSO.
