Use smart labels in issue lists to highlight and tag Jira work items that need attention. You can add pre-existing Jira filters as labels, or use JQL to make custom labels.
Adding a Smart Label

In edit mode, select +Add a Smart Label in the Columns pane.

Select the type of label to add:

Add saved Filter Smart Label: Select an existing Jira filter to use.

Add custom JQL Smart Label: Enter a JQL query to create a custom filter.

Select Save gadget or Insert.
Editing a Smart Label
Select the tag icon to change the label’s color. You can also rename a smart label by selecting the pencil icon and entering the new name.
If you want to remove a smart label, select the trash icon.
