Access Settings

The Access settings let you configure which group and roles in your organization can access the different parts of Time Reports.

  • Auditors Groups: Select the groups allowed to view time spent by other users.

If no groups are selected, all users have access to worklogs.

  • Auditors Roles: Select the roles allowed to view time spent by other users.

  • Accountants Groups: Select the groups allowed to view the Cost Report.

  • Restricted Groups: Select the groups allowed to view time spent by other users with the same group membership.

Auditors Groups only allow users of the selected groups to view time spent by other users. Users of other groups cannot view other user's timesheets, only their own. Auditors Groups, Auditors Roles, and Restricted Groups do not depend on each other and, therefore, can be combined to achieve sophisticated multi-level permissions. For example, a user in an Auditors Group, Auditors Role, and a Restricted Group can view another user's timesheet only if they are part of the same group.

  • Time Entry Issue Panel Groups: Select the groups that can use the Time Entry issue panel to record hours worked in real time.

  • Time Entry Issue Panel Projects: Select the projects that can view the Time Entry issue panel record worked hours in real-time.

Time Entry Issue Panel Groups and Time Entry Issue Panel Projects are related settings, so the system will recognize any selection in either field.

  • Default Worklog Visibility Group: Select the default groups to be set for Worklog Visibility.

  • Default Worklog Visibility Role: Select the default roles to be set for Worklog Visibility.
