2019-02-14 | Tempo Planner for Server 7.0.0 Release Notes

As announced earlier (view announcement), Tempo Planner 7.0.0 supports Jira 8.0. Note that Tempo Planner 7.0.0 is not backward compatible with the Jira 7.x platform. If you upgrade to Jira 8, you will need to upgrade to Tempo Planner 7.0.0. Make sure to check out these instructions before upgrading the Tempo apps.

• Improvements

  • We've made some improvements to Resource Planning to make planning even quicker and easier. Apart from some changes to the look and feel of the view, the improvements include:

    • You can now be expand and collapse the user list with one click in the Resource Planning view.
      

      

    • Plan cards are now displayed in chronological order.
  • When creating or updating a plan in the My Work Calendar, the plan card is updated dynamically, similar to when creating and editing worklog cards.
  • Plan work is now called Plan time in Tempo.
• Fixes
  • Fixed: Tempo panel is not displayed when issue is in "work is denied" status. 
• Deprecated features
  • We've removed hidden resource planning features, as announced in early 2018. The following features will not be available in the Jira 8 compatible version of Tempo:
    • Team - Backlog View
    • Team - Board View
    • Team Project Timeline
    • Program -Timeline View - Projects
    • Program - Timeline View - Teams
    • Planning on Plan item type “Sprint”
