2018-06-15 | Tempo Planner for Server 5.0 Release

Tempo Planner 5.0 has a new main view: Resource Planning. It also includes a new user agenda style gadget, My Work.



New Features

  • Resource Planning:
    • Tempo Planner has a new focus on Resource Management. Resource Planning is now the main view of Tempo Planner, giving resource managers a quick overview of available resources, allowing them to view details of plans, and plan resources within the same view. Resource filters can be saved to quickly access favorite resource filters. 

    • Features focusing on Sprint and Release planning have been deprecated and removed from Planner navigation. However, these features can for some time be enabled again and will be accessible from a Legacy feature dropdown in Planner.

    • Emails for plan approval requests link directly to the Resource Planning view for approval.
  • The My Work gadget is a new user agenda style gadget in Tempo that shows the user schedule for the day. The gadget can both display planned and worked time as well as how user work logs are progressing towards planned time.

Bug fixes

  • The User Agenda gadget can now handle maxResults in issue API call; this corrects an issue where plans for issues were not displayed.


Upgrading to Tempo Planner 5.0 is free for all customers with an active Tempo license. Upgrade Tempo by using the JIRA Universal Plugin Manager (UPM).
